Settled In Peace

Have you ever wondered if it will ever be possible to have peace in such a confused world?  Many of us have tried to find peace from so many different sources and turned up empty-handed.  The truth is, there is really only ONE giver of peace.  "Peace I leave with you;  My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you.  Not as the world gives do I give to you.  Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.  [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed;  and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]"  John 14:27, Amplified. 

When everything around you seems to be in chaos, as a child of the Most High God you can live in complete peace and undisturbed composure.  We obtain this kind of divine peace by taking our troubles to the Lord in prayer (Philippians 4:6-7).  Take your requests to the Lord today...You will find that He is the only source of true, supernatural peace -- something this world will never be able to offer you!
