Can I Have Reliable Wealth?
Have you ever placed your trust in something or someone that has failed you? Do you find yourself saying, "who can be trusted anymore?" Have you ever made a financial investment that you regretted? Or maybe you have made a financial investment that you have placed all of your trust in?
One of the pitfalls of faith for the Christian is placing our trust in this world and its "uncertain riches," or faulty human systems. God never called you to place your confidence in this world, it is fallible. "Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment," I Timothy 6:17, NLT.
In light of current events around the world, I believe it is safe to say that the church of Jesus Christ needs a reminder of WHERE our help comes from! "My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth," Psalm 121:2. When you received the Lord Jesus Christ and were born again, you were translated into the kingdom of light, the kingdom of Jesus Christ, the UNSHAKEABLE KINGDOM. "Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe," Hebrews 12:28, ESV.
Lift your voice in trust to Him today! With uplifted hands and a victorious shout, let the sound of trust resound from your innermost being! Pray this prayer out loud with me: "Heavenly Father, my hope is in You, my faith is in You, my trust is in You. I will trust in the LORD with all of my heart; and lean not unto my own understanding. In all my ways I will acknowledge him, and he shall direct my paths! LORD YOU ARE FAITHFUL. YOU WILL NOT FAIL ME. YOU ARE MY SOURCE OF RELIABLE WEALTH!" (Proverbs 3:5-6)
